Why “Lazypianist”?
The name Lazypianist started as a playful reminder to myself that music doesn’t always have to feel like work. While “lazy” might suggest a lack of effort, in my case it’s about finding ease and joy at the piano—playing in a way that feels natural, unforced, and deeply connected to the music. It’s about working smart, not just hard, and cherishing the moments when music flows effortlessly.
Why I Started This Project
I created Lazypianist to share my love for piano beyond the classroom and the concert hall. Over the years, I have seen how music can inspire, comfort, and connect people across different cultures and languages. Through Lazypianist, I wanted to create a space where anyone, whether they are a serious musician, a casual listener, or someone discovering the piano for the first time, can enjoy music in a relaxed and accessible way.

What started as a personal creative outlet has grown into a platform where I share performances, arrangements, and original pieces with listeners around the world. My hope is that Lazypianist encourages others to approach music not as a task but as a source of joy and connection.
